Welcome to ShoPay Documents (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Android application for creating invoices, quotations, and receipts.
ShoPay Documents is designed as an offline-first product. We prioritize keeping your business information on your device and collecting only what is necessary for the app to function. By using ShoPay Documents, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We do not sell your personal or business data. We do not use your document content for advertising targeting beyond what third-party ad platforms may do as described in the Advertising section below.
All business data you create and manage in ShoPay Documents — including your business profile, customers, products, invoices, quotations, and receipts — is stored locally on your device.
Because storage is device-local, access to your data depends on physical possession of the device (and any device-level protections you enable, such as a lock screen or biometric unlock). Uninstalling the app may permanently remove locally stored data unless you have created a backup.
ShoPay Documents does not require an internet connection for normal operation. You can create, edit, and manage documents without being online.
Limited network access may occur when third-party services such as advertising networks are active (see Advertising and Third-Party Services). If we introduce analytics, cloud sync, or other online features in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before or when those features become available.
When you export or share a document as a PDF, the file is generated locally on your device. PDF creation does not require sending your document content to our servers.
If you share a PDF through another app (email, messaging, cloud storage, and so on), that third-party app’s own privacy practices apply to the shared file.
Backups in ShoPay Documents are initiated manually by you. We do not automatically upload your business data to our servers as part of a background backup process.
You are responsible for choosing where backup files are stored (for example, local storage or a location you select). Protect backup files with the same care you would give any sensitive business records, and delete backups you no longer need.
The free version of ShoPay Documents may display advertisements served by Google AdMob.
Google may collect limited device and usage-related information (such as advertising identifiers, device type, and general app interaction signals) in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob policies. This information is used to deliver and measure ads and may be processed by Google under its own terms.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate for an offline-first mobile application to help protect data stored by the app. Because your business data resides on your device, the strongest protections often come from practices you control — such as keeping your device updated, using a strong lock screen, and securing any backup files you create.
No method of electronic storage is perfectly secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security against all possible risks, including unauthorized physical access to your device.
ShoPay Documents is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
